Every year around this time, we ask ourselves the same question: what does National Day look like on skin this time round?
For SG61, the answer came together as a full sheet — a little train, a heart that just says "SG," a kopi cup with peonies on it, ang ku kueh in red and green, the Gardens by the Bay supertrees, a Merlion mid-roar under the word "SINGAPURA," a Red Lions jet, the flag, and a long charm-bracelet strip running down the side with beads, stars, flowers and a tiny "I ❤️ SG" heart worked into it. It's good, but we know what the audience want. Something bigger & better each year. Everything on it is something you'd actually recognise if you grew up here.
Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore!
